Gophers basketball coach Richard Pitino is going after another Division I transfer for his 2015 recruiting class.
St. John's center Chris Obekpa, the school's all-time leading shot blocker, was due for for his visit with University of Minnesota on Thursday, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.
This year's class already inclyudes two transfers who must sit out this season: Illinois State junior center Reggie Lynch and Texas A&M junior forward Davonte Fitzgerald. Under NCAA rules, all three transfers would be eligible to play in 2016-17.
