Richard Pitino's basketball team is one loss away from making some dubious history.
If Minnesota loses Tuesday at Nebraska, the Gophers will have dropped their first five Big Ten games in consecutive seasons. That has never before happened.
But Pitino and his players say there's a big difference between the current losing streak and last season's 0-5 start to the Big Ten season.
"It's a different feel," Pitino said. "Even last year, I don't think we're going through what we are now. We lost a bunch of close games, but now this is a little bit different.
