Minnesota (25-4, 17-3) finished second in the Big Ten and was ranked 2nd or 3rd in the AVCA polls most of the season helping them earn the No. 2 seed in this year’s Tournament. Being in the top four puts Minnesota on a path to the Final Four that runs straight through the Sports Pavilion as they will host all their matches up until the Final Four. The Gophers will be looking to make back-to-back trips to the Final Four.
Minnesota will host their sub-regional. In the first round they’ll face North Dakota. The other matchup at the Pav will be USC vs Hawaii.
