After a long delay due to COVID and the uncertainty of what a season may look like, many of the typical Minnesota Golden Gophers winter sports have been delayed and anxiously awaiting for their schedules to be released. In the past week several of them finally have found out who and when they will play this season.
Women’s Gymnastics
The Gophers women’s gymnastics team will enter the season ranked #11 in the nation as they will compete in a nine-meet season before the Big Ten and NCAA Championships. The Gophers will host four meets against Iowa, Penn State, Rutgers and Nebraska, and will hit the road to face Michigan, Iowa and Michigan State in a tri-meet in East Lansing and Illinois along with the annual Big 5 meet with a location TBD.
