Former Gophers quarterback Jacques Perra announced his commitment to play for the University of St. Thomas on his Twitter account Tuesday night.
"I couldn't be more excited to represent such an amazing university and football program for the next 3 years," Perra tweeted.
Perra spent his past two seasons as a walk-on in the Gophers program before announcing his intentions to transfer Jan. 7. He told the Pioneer Press his decision to transfer was in part because he did not play during the 2015 season. His only action came in a Gophers blowout road win over Purdue on Oct.
