Thanks to a game-winning interception that will live for ages and strong tackling, Winfield was named B1G Co-Defensive Player of the Week. AWJr is the first Gopher to receive this honor since Jacob Huff last year against Middle Tennessee. It’s also his second B1G PotW honor this season (he was Co-Special Teams PotW last week).
