MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Minnesota coach Jerry Kill says he had to put his psychologist's hat earlier this week after his team's previous game against Kent State.
No, the Golden Gophers didn't lose the game. But an ugly 10-7 victory brought considerable criticism of the offense and quarterback Mitch Leidner.
Kill says he has tried to get the team's confidence back up heading into a home game on Saturday against Ohio, another MAC team.
The Bobcats are 3-0 this season, including a win over Marshall two weeks ago.
