It took a full four quarters as well as two two-minute overtime periods, but the Wisconsin Herd were able to pull out a thrilling 148-144 victory over the Delaware Blue Coats Wednesday night.
The tone of the night was set in the early going as both the Blue Coats and the Herd traded buckets back and forth with one another. While the Herd took the upper hand in the opening several minutes, a late quarter run from Delaware gave them a 31-25 edge at the end of one.
The Blue Coats continued to exercise their control of the contest all throughout the second quarter and separating themselves from the Herd in a considerable way.
