It was too little, too late for the Wisconsin Herd as their last ditch comeback attempt against the Lakeland Magic fell short, giving way to their 117-113 loss Sunday night at the RP Funding Center.
The first quarter was a particularly tight and fiery way to open up the evening, considering there were seven lead changes in the first quarter alone. As a result of that, it was only fitting for the opening period to end 33 all.
Despite that rhythm initially carrying over into the second, the Herd made their first big push on that night, thanks to multiple opportunities of cleaning up on the glass and capitalizing on second chance points.
