It didn’t take long for the Wisconsin Herd to rebound from their opening night misstep as they got the better of the Canton Charge Saturday night in Menominee Nation Arena Saturday night, winning 101-89.
Given a reinforcement in the starting unit with Milwaukee Bucks assignee Sterling Brown in the fold, a ragged start for the Herd opened the door for the Charge to take early control of the night in the opening quarter. But that wouldn’t hold for long as the Herd broke open the game by playing more up-tempo to take a 23-16 lead after one.
Unfortunately, the Herd’s fast paced stylings were turned down several notches as the second quarter went on and the Charge stymied the Herd by burying a string of threes to retake control of the lead midway through.
