The Wisconsin Herd certainly made things difficult for themselves on Wednesday night in front of a lively crowd at the Menominee Nation Arena, but in the end their talent proved to be just enough to get them over the line for a win.
After a slightly slower than usual first half saw the Herd trailing by 18 points at half time, Wisconsin regrouped in the second half and completely turned the game on its head.
Red-hot offensive play and a greater defensive focus allowed the Herd to turn the game around after the interval, and with 2:42 remaining in the game, Jordan Brady’s team led by as many as 11 points.
