Continuing their incredible start to the 2019-20 G League season, the Wisconsin Herd outgunned the Delaware Blue Coats in a 124-119 victory Saturday night at 76ers Fieldhouse in Wilmington.
The Blue Coats were off and running straight away from the opening tip, leaving the Herd to have to play catch up. A shootout subsequently broke out and defined the whole first quarter and led to Delaware holding a 37-34 lead at the end of one.
It didn’t take long for the Herd to take control of the contest early in the second period as they fully blew open the game in their favor and got a huge lift from their bench unit, who proceeded to rain threes upon threes.
