Rapid Recap: Bucks 134, Timberwolves 106

The Milwaukee Bucks sidestepped a red-hot Minnesota Timberwolves team Monday night, winning 134 to 106.

Minnesota was without Karl-Anthony Towns tonight — but it may not have mattered after Eric Bledsoe’s All-Star first-quarter. The guard scored 11 points in the first 12 minutes, the spark of least anticipation as Milwaukee worked up slight edge early. Minnesota stuck close by, partially due to their unprecedented synergy this season and partially due to uninspired defense from Milwaukee, particularly in transition. Things swayed in the Bucks favor in the second quarter. Giannis Antetokounmpo flipped a switch, Bledsoe’s flare hardly died off, and a KAT-less Timberwolves team played to the level that a roster of their makeup should be playing.
