Oscar Robertson is one of the most important players to ever suit up for the Milwaukee Bucks, but his contributions to the NBA community go much farther than what he accomplished in Milwaukee.
Those contributions are significant enough for the entire NBA community to notice, and the reason that Robertson was honored with an NBA Legends Lifetime Achievement Award on Sunday morning. The NBA.com article highlights pretty much everything great The Big O did, but here are some highlights.
Outside of Milwaukee, Robertson is most known for being Mr. Triple-Double. Robertson did the incredible double feat of averaging a triple-double for an entire season in 1962, and for the duration of his first five NBA seasons.
