I feel for everyone who had to trudge out in April for the primary election, when Milwaukee moved from 180 of polling places to a mere five, resulting in lengthy lines and long waits during the initial height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
After intense back and forth, Wisconsin is moving forward with today's election.
The city of Milwaukee, with a total population near 600,000, had just five polling places open — compared to about 180 during normal times. https://t.co/FVTUBrCEc9— NPR (@NPR) April 7, 2020To combat that issue, the Milwaukee Bucks are partnering with LeBron James’ More Than A Vote group to potentially offer the Fiserv Forum as a place for citizens to cast their vote.
