For those who were excited for the return of Milwaukee Bucks basketball, Friday’s Summer League opener acted as a significant let-down.
Although there were some brief flashes of positive play from the young Bucks in Las Vegas, Milwaukee’s team, coached by assistant coach Josh Broghamer, were comprehensively beaten by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
After a positive start, Milwaukee’s offense came to a grinding halt and never really got going again until midway through the third quarter.
That third quarter rally briefly saw the Bucks charge back within 10 points of their opponents, but it wouldn’t last as they slipped back just as quickly.
