That’s officially a wrap on the Milwaukee Bucks’ 2019 Summer League as they fell to the Portland Trail Blazers in a 99-84 loss Friday night in Las Vegas.
The up-tempo, shootout nature of the game was set early on with Portland taking early control of the contest. But a late scoring flurry from the Bucks led to them coming within 3 of the Blazers, trailing 27-24 at the end of one.
Milwaukee continued to claw their way back into the proceedings, eventually regaining the lead at the 7:20 mark of the second period.
Portland’s offensive firepower subsequently quietened down and the Bucks opened up their advantage to 50-43 heading into the halftime break.
