The Milwaukee Bucks took a nine-point lead late in the first quarter, and looked to be cruising to a comfortable home win on Martin Luther King Day, only to give that lead away due to ice cold shooting in the second quarter.
In spite of a great start, the Bucks ended up trailing by two points at half time. The game remained very close until about halfway through the third quarter, but then the Bucks went on a big run in the late third and early fourth to take a 17-point lead, seemingly securing the win.
It didn’t turn out to be that simple, however, as the Bucks went cold again and the Mavericks had an 11-0 run to bring the difference down to just six points.
