Milwaukee Bucks Pick Up Third Year Of Rashad Vaughn’s Contract

Although Rashad Vaughn has struggled in most of his career with the Milwaukee Bucks to this point, general manager John Hammond saw fit to exercise the Bucks option on his rookie scale contract on Saturday morning anyway.

Vaughn is now a guaranteed contract for Milwaukee in the 2017-18 NBA season. He’ll make $1,889,040, according to The Vertical. The Bucks had until Monday to decide if they wanted to retain Vaughn or not–the deadline for the decision is October 31st.

Milwaukee will have until that same date next season to decide if they want to exercise the final option on Vaughn’s rookie deal, keeping him with the Bucks through the 2018-19 NBA season.
