Even while he’s getting ready to take the next steps in his career by entering the 2020 NBA Draft, it’s easy for Jared Butler to wonder what could have been.
The sophomore Baylor guard was the primary focal point and leading scorer for a Bears team that had a 26-4 record and was one of the top teams in the country this college basketball season.
Of course, Butler and Baylor’s dream season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic and suddenly, there was no resolution or the chance to vie for an NCAA title.
As Butler told HoopsHype’s Bryan Kalbrosky, the ability to set the foundation toward starting his NBA career has been a way for him to move beyond the swift way his time at Baylor unceremoniously ended:
