This isn’t quite the Chicago Bulls of the 1990s when Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen thrilled the United Center on a nightly basis. Nor is it a team of the caliber of the Tom Thibodeau coached group that racked up 62 wins behind MVP Derrick Rose at the beginning of this decade.
Still, there’s no doubting that this Bulls team clearly has the potential to grow into something special, which after a few years of floundering at the middle to bottom of the East will be very welcome news to all in Chicago.
