Milwaukee Bucks: 3 takeaways from 98-97 win over Boston Celtics

By the skin of their teeth, the Milwaukee Bucks wound up victorious in their return from the All-Star break by edging past the Boston Celtics in a 98-97 win Thursday night at Fiserv Forum.

After an incredibly sloppy start from both teams following the opening jump, the Celtics struck first by holding a double-digit lead with under five-and-a-half minutes left in the first quarter. That proved to be the wake up call the Bucks needed as they rattled off a 14-6 run from that point on following a timeout to trail the Celtics 23-20 through one.

The second quarter was filled with both squads trading back and forth buckets as they looked to have found their footing, respectively.
