All throughout the 2019-20 season, the Milwaukee Bucks have been chasing history.
Since the arrival of head coach Mike Budenholzer, the Bucks have molded themselves into an elite defensive unit and it’s been their success on that side of the ball that has been the backbone to their success over that span.
While Budenholzer has been principal in designing the Bucks’ defensive turnaround, it’s been veteran center Brook Lopez who has been equally instructive in helping shepherd such a transformation in Milwaukee as they’ve become title contenders.
Lopez’s own arrival obviously coincides with Budenholzer’s and that partnership has been instrumental to the career transformation that Lopez has been able to enjoy since coming to Milwaukee.
