Milwaukee Bucks: 3 players who need to step up in Khris Middleton’s absence

Just 10 games into the new season, the Milwaukee Bucks have been forced to face up to their first really significant injury of the 2019-20 campaign.

As it was reported, and later officially announced by the Bucks on Monday evening, All-Star swingman Khris Middleton is set to miss three-to-four weeks due to a left thigh contusion.

Following a coming together with Terrance Ferguson, whose knee collided with the 28-year-old’s thigh, Middleton was forced to leave the Bucks’ game with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday in the third quarter.

At the time, the hope, and expectation, was that the injury wouldn’t prove to be all that serious and that Middleton may even be able to return later in the week after the Bucks’ enjoy a few days off.
