For our next 2019-20 individual season preview, we turn our attention to third-year Milwaukee Bucks forward D.J. Wilson.
It was night and day for Wilson over the course of his second year with the Bucks last season, for many reasons. The biggest being Wilson being able to showcase his talents on the NBA level, which wasn’t the case over his redshirt rookie campaign.
If not for a broken nose for Ersan Ilyasova, it’s hard to say whether Wilson would have gotten the kind of run that he did in the 2018-19 season.
Heck, there was even some question to whether Wilson would have even made the team going into the start of last season before the Bucks picked up his third-year team option last fall.
