Salt Lake City — O.J. Mayo will be back to bolster the Milwaukee Bucks bench next week, coach Jason Kidd said Friday.
Mayo practiced with the team Thursday at the Vivint Smart Home Arena but did not suit up Friday against the Utah Jazz.
"O.J. had a good practice and shootaround, so hopefully Tuesday he'll be ready to go," Kidd said. "It will be good to get healthy.
"If we can get healthy, it will give us something to build on the last two games."
The Bucks play Boston on Tuesday night and Washington on Thursday night in home games before the league takes a week-long break for the NBA all-star weekend in Toronto.
