Greivis Vasquez 'doing better' but still not cleared to play

Atlanta — Milwaukee Bucks guard Greivis Vasquez was on the floor taking shots with his teammates after shootaround Friday morning at Philips Arena.

But coach Jason Kidd said Vasquez has yet to receive medical clearance to return to action. Vasquez has been sidelined since undergoing right ankle surgery in mid-December.

The Bucks are lottery-bound and have just nine games remaining in the regular season, including a Saturday night home date against the Charlotte Hornets, part of a five-game home stand.

"He's doing better," Kidd said. "He's making positive steps going forward.
