Democrats and Republicans caucus on Bucks arena as Wisconsin Senate waits for possible Wednesday vote

Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald is reportedly still working to find enough votes needed for passage of a new Milwaukee Bucks arena, though a vote could still happen on Wednesday if caucuses from both parties on Tuesday afternoon yield the requisite 17 votes in the 33-member Senate. If the proposal receives Senate approval, it would then move on to the Assembly.

Fitzgerald told reporters on Tuesday that he's "not going to the floor without the votes," a condition that he hoped to have clarified by the time separate meetings among Democrats and Republicans conclude on Tuesday afternoon.
