Bucks win tournament opener 97-93 over Rockets

MOVING ON!

Well, the Bucks are going to play playing later into the week.

After finishing pre-tournament play with a 0-3 record and a 24th seed out of 24 teams, Milwaukee pulled off a 97-93 upset in the first round against the Rockets. Houston was the 9 seed in the tournament.

In a surprisingly energetic game, the Bucks got big scoring contributions from Sean Kilpatrick (26p), Kevin Jones (20p/9r), and Rashad Vaughn (23p). Vaughn and Kilpatrick went 7-12 from deep and the team was 9-15 as a group. Micheal Eric held things down defensively with six blocks.
