Bucks cut Marcus Landry, as well as Jorge Gutierrez and Josh Powell

Marcus Landry averaged 2.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in four preseason games for the Bucks.

The Milwaukee Bucks requested waivers on three players Wednesday, releasing guard Jorge Gutierrez and forwards Marcus Landry and Josh Powell from their contracts.

The moves were announced by general manager John Hammond.

Gutierrez, in his second season out of California, played in 20 games last year for the Bucks, averaging 2.7 points and 1.1 assists in 8.7 minutes per contest. In four preseason games this year, he averaged 3.0 points and 2.8 assists.
