Milwaukee’s trade with the Charlotte Hornets processed yesterday at the end of the league’s moratorium, meaning Pat Connaughton and Vasilije Miciu0107 officially swapped teams. Now, as expected, Miciu0107 has agreed to a contract buyout with the Bucks and will likely be returning to Europe for the coming season, per Michael Scotto. This move frees up money to make the Myles Turner signing possible.
Miciu0107 is owed $8.1m on the rest of his contract, but is reportedly willing to give some money back to the team. The actual amount Milwaukee will be paying to complete the buyout has not yet been announced.
