After he injured his leg yesterday, Will Middlebrooks went on the 15-day DL. Keon Broxton was recalled to fill his roster spot.
During yesterday’s game, Will Middlebrooks had to come out of the game in the third inning after suffering an injury while running to third base, and needed help to get off the field. Today, the Brewers placed Middlebrooks on the 15-day with what’s listed as a lower right leg strain. To fill his spot on the active roster, Keon Broxton was recalled from the minors.
The loss of Middlebrooks will hurt the Brewers infield depth in the short term.
