The St. Louis Cardinals down the Brewers in extras, 5-3

Up until this game, the Milwaukee Brewers had been undefeated in extra innings. The streak has been ended thanks to St. Louis Cardinals’ devil magic.

The game started favorably enough for the Brewers, with a first inning solo homer from Eric Thames. That one run was enough up until the sixth inning when Oliver Drake would give up a bases-loaded walk to drive in the game-tying run.

The score sat at 1-1 until the 9th inning, when Domingo Santana drove in Thames to take the lead back. Then, the bullpen would come back out to blow the lead.
