MILWAUKEE -- Eric Thames belted a two-out, three-run homer off Wade Davis as the Brewers overcame a slow night at the plate and snapped a two-game losing skid with a 5-3 victory over the Rockies at Miller Park on Friday.
It was Thames' 15th homer of the season and his second career walk-off shot.
The Brewers had managed just three hits before Davis came on to work the ninth. He struck out Mike Moustakas to open the inning, then walked Jesus Aguilar and Travis Shaw.
