The Milwaukee Brewers have been very inventive this season when it comes to getting their best players on the field. Now, they could be planning to get especially crazy. MLB Network’s Jon Morosi says Milwaukee has inquired about the Kansas City Royals’ Mike Moustakas. Moustakas is an alright third baseman and can play first base, but he’s limited to those two positions. In order to make room for Mike Moustakas, the Crew would move Travis Shaw to second base.
Moustakas has been having a respectable season. He’s slashing .245/.307/.457 with 19 homers and a 105 wRC+.
