Ortiz, Bauers impress in tight loss to Astros

The Brewers and Astros clashed in a back-and-forth game Friday night, with the Brewers eventually losing 5-4.

Neither starting pitcher kept a clean sheet, but they both put up their share of strikeouts. Each pitcher allowed two home runs, making for an exciting, tense game throughout.

Freddy Peralta was on the mound for Milwaukee, yet despite his slider finding some consistent whiffs, he was unable to avoid traffic as the Astros eventually hit his slider over the fence for those two homers. His final line came to five innings of work while allowing five runs. He only walked one batter to six strikeouts, but his eight hits allowed was enough for Peralta to be on hook for the loss.
