Omar Narvaez added to the All-Star Game, making five selections for the Milwaukee Brewers

Earlier today, Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina had to pull out of the All-Star Game due to injury. With another catcher needed for the team, Omar Narvaez was a strong candidate considering his stellar season. It ended up paying off, as the Brewers catcher was named to the team, making it the fifth Brewers player on the team. It’s the third straight game where the Brewers have had five players named to the team.

With the addition of Omar Narváez, the #Brewers now have a franchise-record five All-Stars for the third time, all consecutively: 2018, 2019 and 2021 (no game in 2020).
