After a quick return of the offense on Wednesday afternoon, it’s gone silent again just two days later. The Brewers were shut out for the fifth time in 14 games in May. This time, it came in the form of a 3-0 loss to the Twins, who won their 12th straight game.
It didn’t help that the Brewers fell behind from the start. Chad Patrick allowed three of the first four Twins batters to reach base: he hit Trevor Larnach with a pitch before allowing singles to Ryan Jeffers and Ty France. That put the Brewers behind 1-0.
