Corey Ray goes to IL. Not sure what injury is.
It’s odd when the second rated prospect lands on the Injured List with an unspecified injury. Corey Ray will sit out at least seven days before he can return to the every day lineup. At this point it’s literally impossible to speculate what the injury could be.
Did anything odd happen in Tuesday’s game?
Ray started in center field, and went 0-for-3 with a strikeout, and was lifted in the top of the seventh inning for utility man Nate Orf. No reasons were given, and nothing questionable appeared to occur in the game.
