San Antonio Missions (5-4) vs. Nashville Sounds (3-6)
Just as the Missions looked like they were taking care of business, the bullpen gave up seven runs in the top of the eighth, ruining Aaron Wilkerson’s gem by the score 7-3.
As mentioned, Wilkerson was superb Friday night. He tossed 6 1/3 innings, allowed just two hits, and only gave up a walk. Jay Jackson had another strong outing pitching a scoreless 1 1/3 innings with three strike outs. Then with two outs in the top of the eight, Rick Sweet called for Donnie Hart to shut down the Sounds and finish the inning.
