While others were dealt to build towards postseason runs, Brown was never available. Viewed as one of the top prospects in all of baseball, Brown’s power potential was among games best.
But after battling injuries and disappointing seasons, Brown has been let go by the Phillies. Now available, the Brewers should strongly consider giving Brown a shot.
Yes, the 28-year-old outfielder is coming off two seasons of failure and a year that he also spent time in the minor leagues, but a change of scenery could certainly help a player who has a lot to prove if he wants to be an everyday player again.
