The Milwaukee Brewers continue to lean heavily on their bullpen, and with the relief corps eating up 14.1 innings over the past four games, the club has announced a move to add a fresh arm to the bullpen:
Jay Jackson appeared for the Brewers in consecutive games on the first against Oakland and yesterday in Chicago, two of his ten big league appearances on the season. He has totaled 14 innings pitched and owns a 5.79 ERA, issuing eight walks and allowing three homers though also with 21 strikeouts. Deserved Run Average thinks that he’s been a positive contributor, grading him at an 84 DRA- during his limited MLB action.
