San Antonio Missions (10-8) vs. Nashville Sounds (5-13)
Troy Stokes Jr. and Tyrone Taylor led the offense as the Missions got the series victory and a 5-0 win tonight for Corbin Burnes.
Burnes, who was recently demoted to San Antonio was sharp in his three innings of work, gave up just one hit and struck out three. He did have some location issues giving up three walks but looked good in his first Pacific Coast League action.
The bullpen quintet of Michael Tonkin, Miguel Sanchez, Tristan Archer, Deolis Guerra, and Jay Jackson held Nashville to just three hits, one walk and struck out nine in six innings.
