Biloxi Shuckers (11-8) vs. Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (5-14)
Biloxi struck first and held on for the 6-4 victory against Jacksonville.
Bruce Caldwell was the only Shucker with multiple hits, going 2-3 with two runs. Only three other players had a hit, but solo shots for Weston Wilson and Cooper Hummel helped keep the lead for the pitching staff.
Bowden Francis got the start, going five innings, giving up three earned with four hits.
