If you haven’t heard yet, Kris Bryant hit his first major league home run tonight against the Milwaukee Brewers, but he wasn’t the only one to have a first. Pinch hitting in the five run Brewers fifth, Jason Rogers hit his first major league home run. While his blast will not get any media attention, Rogers has continued to prove that he can hit as he looks to be a player in the Brewers’ future.
Though Rogers entered the Brewers’ organization without a lot of hype, he has proven at each level that he can flat out hit.
