Garrett Cooper‘s strong season has been rewarded as he has been promoted to AA Biloxi. While he his name is not mentioned among top Brewers’ prospects, he has quietly put together a solid season in Brevard County and earned his promotion to the next level.

Though he is coming into the lineup to replace Phillips, Cooper’s bat could be another spark to the already potent Biloxi Shuckers’ lineup. Current first baseman Nick Ramirez has really struggled as of late to provide offense for the Shuckers and while Taylor Green is starting at first base in tonight’s lineup, there is a good chance that the 24-year-old Cooper could work his way into the lineup soon.
