After a slow start to the week, the Biloxi Shuckers were able to close out the week on a roll. The Shuckers began this week by losing three of their first four games, but finished the week on a three game winning streak that included a 10-2 thumping on Sunday afternoon.
By winning their last three games the Shuckers have not just held on to fourth place in the second half, but they have also stayed within striking distance, just four games back from first place in the Southern League South. This upcoming week, they will have an opportunity to gain even more ground as they have a five game series with the last place, Jackson Suns, before taking on the first place Mobile Baybears on Sunday to finish the week.
