There is something about Vanderbilt pitchers in the MLB. First, there was David Price and then pitchers like Sonny Gray and Mike Minor joined the mix of good young arms in the big leagues. Even last season, Tyler Beede was selected with the 15th overall pick by the San Francisco Giants and he has excelled in his first full minor league season. The school has become a dynasty for pitchers.
