Milwaukee Brewers first round pick Brice Turang was one of five first round picks yet to sign. It was a possibility a deal could not get done. Turang has a commitment to play collegiate baseball for Louisiana State University.
The Brewers were touted as an appealing destination for Turang, based on some family connections and having a relationship with the organization. Up to this point the team has been in a competitive fight to get Turang under contract.
