Bubba Derby started the day with a zero in the first, but a two run home run by old friend Jett Bandy started the rough day for the Missions. Derby would go five innings, giving up six runs on six hits and two home runs. Miguel Sanchez was good in 2 2/3 innings of work, striking out three while only giving up on hit, a solo home run to Matt Davidson.
